Shared language for education work
A guide to curriculum terms, Kurasa products and the language used in lesson planning and assessment.
Use shared terms in planning conversations
Words such as assessment, implementation and evidence can mean different things across school and programme teams. Agree the working meaning before preparing a report or choosing a workflow. Use the definitions here as a starting point, then connect each term to your local curriculum, responsibilities and intended use.
Follow the term into practice
Explore Workspace assessment for classroom evidence, Academy for professional learning and the monitoring pages for programme reporting. The AI resources explain how drafts, permissions and review fit into school work. If a procurement or implementation term affects scope, confirm its meaning with the people responsible before relying on it.
