Practice example: all names, records and amounts are fictional. Options vary with your school’s curriculum, currency and access.

Interface labels are shown in English. Follow the translated steps below to find each control. Follow the sequence, review the recorded information and choose the next step.
Who can use this feature
Use your own account and check the school before opening records. Account checks do not grant a school role. Ask an authorised school administrator to review missing membership, class assignments or feature access; families use their own approved learner links.
Before you start
Open the correct school and record with permission to edit. Prepare a readable file allowed by that particular feature; file limits differ across the app.
Required and optional fields
Follow the requirements of the form you are using. The diagnostic details below help you check the problem; they are not a separate form or a request to change your account.
| Field | Requirement | Format or example | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class resource example | Required when applicable | Name is required; Description and files are optional. Supported attachments are PNG, JPEG or PDF up to 5 MiB each. Check the class and saved card. | Current account, selected school/year, saved setup records and the actual form’s requirements. |
Picklist prerequisites
Menus depend on school access. Class resource files come from your device, while the class context comes from saved school records. Choosing a file does not create a missing class or permission.
Desktop walkthrough
Check the current screen and the relevant context.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓- Find the feature through the menu or More choices. Read required markers and current selections before typing. Scroll inside a dialog when its lower controls are outside the view.
- For a class resource, enter a Name; Description and files are optional. Describe the materials or next activity and check the intended class audience.
- Use the file control to select a permitted attachment from your device. For class resources, use PNG, JPEG or PDF up to 5 MiB each. Check the selected filename; picking a file alone does not save the resource.
- Read the whole form and choose Save resource once. Wait for confirmation and check the saved card. For other features, follow that form’s own validation and save controls.
- Reopen the saved resource to check its name, description and attachment. If upload fails, check type, size, connection and the error before retrying; preserve the text first.
Mobile walkthrough
On a phone, fields stack and the device file chooser opens separately. Return to the form and check the selected file before scrolling to Save. The walkthrough uses a fictional attachment and shows the saved resource.

Confirm that both the text and intended file are attached to the saved record. A file chooser closing or a selected filename is not a successful upload.
Troubleshooting
The picker closes, attachment fails or Save is unavailable?
Check required fields and the feature’s supported formats and size limit. Return from the device picker to the original tab. Review the saved record before another upload; do not keep submitting a large or unsupported file.
Before retrying a save or send, reopen the same record and check whether it was already saved or queued. Keep the original wording and error. Repeated clicks can create duplicate actions.
