Overview

Use the first week to build a routine the team can check together. Begin with one class, identify missing setup and agree follow-up actions before expanding to more classes.

Practice example: all names, records and amounts are fictional. Options vary with your school’s curriculum, currency and access.

Interface labels are shown in English. Follow the translated steps below to find each control. Follow the sequence, review the recorded information and choose the next step.

Who can use this feature

Teachers work within their school roles and allocations. A class teacher may have responsibility for particular classes; that does not automatically provide school-wide administration.

Before you start

Open the intended school and check its current academic year. Use the school’s checked staff, class and learner lists; resolve duplicate records before adding more.

Check school access, the current year, classes, teacher allocations and learner placement. Agree who will help with missing access or incorrect records.

This is a review checklist, not an additional form. The items below are the information to check; each setup screen has its own required fields.

Desktop walkthrough

Use one class to check the sequence: plan the lesson, take the dated register, record what was taught, add observations and agree the next step. Open the underlying records when a summary has a gap. Counts describe recorded activity; review them with the teacher before drawing conclusions.

Check the school, person or class before starting.

  1. Before the week starts, have each teacher check their school, role and allocated learning areas. Resolve access gaps with the administrator.
  2. Prepare one lesson for an intended class. Check the date, activities, materials and what the teacher will observe during learning.
  3. On the teaching day, open the register for the correct class and date. Complete it using the school’s attendance process; an unmarked register is not a confirmed absence.
  4. After teaching, record the work actually covered and the learning evidence observed. Distinguish a missing observation from evidence of difficulty.
  5. At the end of the week, review open records with the school lead, correct gaps and agree the next teaching actions. Repeat the routine before adding more workflows.

Mobile walkthrough

Use the same checks on a phone: open the school menu, confirm the school and year, then review the relevant people, classes and records. Open one record at a time so its context stays clear.

Check the school, person or class before starting.

If section tabs are hidden on a phone, open More where available. Swipe wide tables sideways to reach every column.

Tap a field to enter or choose a value. Close the keyboard if it covers the lower fields or final button. Review the form from top to bottom before submitting; leaving a drawer is not proof that a change was saved.

Return to the relevant list after the action and reopen the item to check it. On a shared phone, sign out when you finish. Keep the written steps available while you follow the highlighted screen areas.

Save and verify

The team can explain what was prepared, taught, recorded and reviewed, and who will follow up on a gap. Use that discussion to plan the next week rather than rank staff or promise results.

Troubleshooting

The weekly summary has gaps

Check the underlying class, dates, allocations and saved records before interpreting the summary. Ask the responsible person whether work is unrecorded or unfinished, then agree the next action.

An option or person is missing

Check the school, your role, the academic year and the upstream setup first. Clear search filters and wait for lists to load. If the option is still missing, ask the administrator to check membership, class setup or allocation.

The action is blocked or the response is unclear

Read the message beside the field and correct the specific entry. If a request may already have completed, refresh and inspect the saved list before trying again. Avoid repeated submissions that could add duplicates or send messages twice.
