A clearer connection between school and home

Kurasa Home is the parent-facing part of the product family, intended to help families stay informed and connected to learning.

The family view of the school record

Parents follow the children the school has linked to them. PSL Daily Challenge stays the after-school practice on a family account.

Home reads the workspace. It does not keep a second grade book.

Useful school updates

Families need an understandable view of the information their school chooses to share. Check which learner and period an update concerns, whether a report has been made available and whether the school expects a response. An adult account provides the route for learner participation.

School-led communication

The school decides who may share information and which family should receive it. Adults should follow the school's route for questions about a learner's record or a missing update. Confirm access arrangements and contact links with the school before expecting a particular view or message.

Availability

Ask your school which Kurasa Home functions are available in its current setup. Product illustrations may also show workflows still in development, including report-release steps. Use the availability labels and the school's guidance to understand what can be used today and where further information is needed.

Understand the school’s communication routine

Kurasa Home brings the family perspective into the conversation about learner progress. Ask your school which parent-facing tools are enabled, how access is arranged and which updates will be shared. The school remains the right starting point for questions about a child’s records, reports and classroom learning.

Support learning beyond an update

Use a report or message to ask the learner about what they are studying and where they need encouragement. A short, consistent learning routine can complement school work. Explore PSL Daily Challenge separately if your family wants learner practice; confirm current Home availability and access with your school.

The problem

Parents hear about school only at closing day or when something goes wrong. WhatsApp forwards and paper notes do not replace a shared learner trail.

At home

Open the child’s progress after supper. See the week’s work, attendance and reports without calling the teacher for a reconstruction.

From the classroom record

Same school record

Home reads from the workspace — it does not invent a second grade book.

SMS and app

Updates can reach families the way they already communicate.

Pairs with Daily Challenge

After-school practice sits beside the school week, not instead of it.
