What is changing

Only what we can stand behind today.

A label says whether you can use it. Unconfirmed workflows are marked in development and left undescribed.

  • Available now A customer can use it today.
  • Configurable Kurasa can set it up for a customer or programme.
  • In development Planned. Not available.
  1. Available now

    The school record stays

Workspace brings lessons, attendance, formative assessment and reports together. Contact Kurasa for confirmed account and data transition guidance for your school.

  2. Available now

aiDE still sits beside the lesson

aiDE drafts activities into the plan the teacher edits. It does not mark learners, and it does not rewrite the curriculum.

  3. In development

    Help beyond the lesson plan

The direction is AI across more of the school week. Which workflows ship on launch day is not confirmed, so they are not described here.

  4. Available now

    PSL and Academy stay pathways

Termly assessment and teacher learning continue beside Workspace. They are not replaced by this release.

  5. Configurable

    TLAP stays the Ghana pilot

Teaching, Learning and Assessment Platform is the 14-school pilot with ESDEV and Ghana Education Service, launched 30 April 2025.

    TLAP launch note

Who it is for

The same system, the people who already use it.

  • Teachers

Plan, teach and assess in the workspace you already open. aiDE can draft beside the lesson. You still edit the plan.

  • School leaders

Follow planning, attendance and assessment across your school. Explore the tools for school leaders and discuss the setup your team needs.

  • Families

Reports still come from the school record. PSL Daily Challenge is the after-school habit: about eight minutes, on a family account.

  • School networks

Use Workspace for the classroom record in each school. School groups that share an assessment sitting can discuss PSL Summative with the team.

  • Programmes

Ministries, inspectorates and partners start with a conversation. KISEL stays the Ghana licensing file. TLAP stays the classroom pilot.

Questions

Accounts, data, credits, training.

Do existing accounts still work?

Yes. Teachers and school staff sign in at app.kurasa.co with email, phone, username or email OTP. Ask the team for confirmed account and record transition guidance before planning a migration.

What happens to learner and school data?

Your school record stays in the school workspace. Read Privacy for information about data use, access and your rights.

How will aiDE credits work?

They are not published. School pools, allocations, limits and top-ups will be described when the rules are confirmed. Do not treat credits as a second school fee.

Will teachers need new training?

Kurasa Academy is still the training path. A launch note is not a new induction. Schools that want a walkthrough can use the contact page.

Which languages does this cover?

Explore Kurasa in English, Kiswahili, French, Ikinyarwanda, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Filipino or Hindi. Discuss your school’s teaching language during setup.

Who do I talk to?

Contact the Nairobi or Accra team through the contact page, or write to hello@mykurasa.com for support.
