CBE improves when the week improves, not when the slogan does
Continuous improvement takes shape in the teaching week. Make time for shared planning, mentorship and review, using the class, materials and devices teachers work with every day.
Practical teaching guide, updated September 2026. Use the examples to discuss lesson preparation, classroom observations and follow-up with your teaching team.
What still has to be true
Work with teachers, not on them. Fund professional learning communities and mentorship with time on the timetable, not a stolen break. Context-shaped CPD — the actual device, the actual class size — instead of a cascade workshop nobody opens again. Pay and posting still matter. Software does not replace them.
Putting the routine into practice
Start with the curriculum and teaching conditions in your school. Use a familiar activity to agree what to observe, how to give feedback and when the team will review the next cycle.
Where Kurasa sits
Workspace brings the weekly classroom record together. Academy gives teachers an opportunity to practise those routines, while staff and education officers can use the record to discuss preparation and follow-up.

The week
If it cannot be taught on Monday, it is not a reform.
The CBC guide is the how-to. Academy is the sitting. Implementing CBC is the honest list of snags.
