Usually Kurasa books the onboarding. At Katangini, the headteacher reached first. Hannah Kiva drove the dry miles into Mwingi North and found a staffroom that had already decided the session would happen.

The visit
Remote schools are not a metaphor. The original note is a travel day: heat, rough road, a headteacher who could barely wait at the gate. He had invited a teacher from Kalatine Primary so the afternoon would not stop at his own staff list. That is the whole story. It does not need a banner about leaving no school behind.
Hannah is the regional lead, not the headteacher. The published photographs of teachers and learners after the tour are not reused here as identifiable children’s faces. Mr William’s first name is what the 2025 post used; we do not invent a surname. Workspace is the product they opened. WhatsApp hotlines from that post are retired in favour of Contact.
