A Quality Assurance and Standards Officer (QASO) can arrive as a file-checker or as a colleague who still remembers a period. CBC only lives if the second visit is possible: observe the lesson, sit with the staffroom, help a rubric, leave the school able to show its year.

Kurasa is not a Quality Assurance and Standards Officer tool and not a Ministry inspection file. Governments later read the same evidence trail. They do not get a parallel dashboard invented on this page.

Coaching on formative assessment — a rubric for a competency, used while the work is still warm. Interpreting the circular so a head does not have to guess. The May 2025 original said QASOs should introduce the visit as support. That sentence still holds. The humility is the method.
The original cited a county study on missed CBC retooling and poor training quality. We have not re-checked that study. It stays in 2025, on that URL, and is not a national rate. Do not paste 60 Decibels percentages into an inspectorate how-to. Those interviews were about Kurasa, not about QASOs.
If a school already keeps plans, attendance and formative evidence in Workspace, a visiting officer can read the same week the teacher taught. That is useful. It is not an inspectorate product, and it is not Ghana’s KISEL licensing file. The governments page is the later picture — self-evaluation and reporting — on the same trail.
