Who can use this feature
Use your own authorised school account. Settings usually require owner, co-owner, administrator or school-leadership access; finance and staff-credit actions have their own permissions. Confirm the specific action with the school lead.
Before you start
Confirm the workspace, academic year, school curriculum and your responsibility for this change. Have the approved school records available and review existing settings before entering replacements.
Have the national education authority’s approved reference, or the authorised IB programme reference, and the school’s class/subject map. Ask the school lead to confirm product availability.
Required and optional fields
| Field | Requirement | Format or example | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Curriculum, subject and syllabus reference | Check before continuing | Confirm the framework, level, subject and applicable syllabus/version with the school. Catalogue choices must match the intended programme before planning or entering assessment records. | The school’s enabled curriculum, active levels and available rubric catalogue. |
| Level and grading-system category | Check before continuing | Choose the intended active level and an offered category. Choices depend on the school curriculum and catalogue; do not substitute another framework to fill an empty list. | The school’s enabled curriculum, active levels and available rubric catalogue. |
| Workspace features and product modules | Check before continuing | Review the named switch and its effect before changing it. Feature and module switches save immediately; reopening the page checks the result. | Approved school records and current workspace membership. |
Picklist prerequisites
| Choice | Options come from | Earlier selection | If missing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grading categories and level overrides | The enabled curriculum’s rubric catalogue and active class levels. | Confirm curriculum; choose a level before its override category. | Check active classes and catalogue support. Do not choose an unrelated curriculum category. |
| Available features and integrations | Workspace permissions, feature settings and supported product modules. | Confirm the school’s entitlement and the effect of the specific switch. | Check the module catalogue or contact support; a menu alone does not establish active integration. |
Desktop walkthrough
Check the workspace and choose the required options.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓- Confirm the country, school curriculum, programme and class levels. Schools in the same country can follow different frameworks.
- Check the offered class levels, subjects and teacher allocations against the school’s approved reference.
- Inspect the available preference and grading categories. An absent framework needs an availability check; do not relabel a CBE or CCP form as the school’s curriculum.
- For IB, confirm the specific programme and the school’s supported planning and evidence-recording process. Keep programme requirements separate from generic Workspace access.
- Agree supported settings and any missing catalogue items with the school lead and support. Verify an authorised staff account before entering further records.
Mobile walkthrough
Check the workspace and choose the required options.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓On a phone, open the school menu and the feature named in the steps. Open one record or panel at a time. Scroll inside drawers and close the keyboard to reach the lower fields and final action.
Choose prerequisite fields first and check any defaults after changing school, year, class or curriculum. For wide grids and large imports, use landscape or a larger screen; the written instructions remain available.
After an authorised save, wait for confirmation and reopen the record. If a request may have completed, inspect the saved state before trying again.
Save and verify
Staff know which supported workflow and official reference to use, and which setup items need confirmation. Use that shared reference to prepare, record observations and agree the next teaching activity.
Troubleshooting
An option or feature is missing
Check school, year, role, curriculum and enabled modules. Clear search filters and wait for loading. Resolve the preceding setup item first; ask the administrator to check access if the choice remains unavailable.
The programme’s form is not available
Confirm the school’s enabled workflow and supported level with Kurasa. Keep the correct curriculum name and pause the affected setup until a suitable path is agreed.
A change did not save
Read the named validation error and correct that field. Check whether any part of the request succeeded before retrying. Keep the original source record available until the saved version has been checked.
