Overview
Use the phone layout to find the right school task, read the whole screen and check the recorded information.

Practice example: all names, records and amounts are fictional. Options vary with your school’s curriculum, currency and access.
Phone example
Interface labels are shown in English. Follow the translated steps below to find each control. Follow the sequence, review the recorded information and choose the next step.
Who can use this feature
Use your own account and check the school before opening records. Account checks do not grant a school role. Ask an authorised school administrator to review missing membership, class assignments or feature access; families use their own approved learner links.
Before you start
Sign in with your own account, select the school and use an internet connection. Have the class, year or record you intend to work with.
Required and optional fields
Follow the requirements of the form you are using. The diagnostic details below help you check the problem; they are not a separate form or a request to change your account.
| Field | Requirement | Format or example | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|---|
| School, year and record | Required when applicable | Check the account, school name, academic year, role and intended class or record. These are diagnostic checks; only authorised school staff can correct membership and setup. | Current account, selected school/year, saved setup records and the actual form’s requirements. |
Picklist prerequisites
Phone navigation uses the same school roles and records as desktop. A small screen does not add permissions or populate an empty class or subject list.
Desktop walkthrough
Check the current screen and the relevant context.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓- Open the menu button at the top of the app. Read the school name and choose the area you need; available items reflect your role.
- Close the menu to use the page. Use visible bottom navigation and More choices where provided; they are navigation, not a save action.
- Scroll through cards and form sections before acting. Swipe wide tables sideways to read remaining columns, then return to the name or record reference.
- Choose a record, review its details and complete the form’s own save or confirmation. Check the success state and reopen the record when needed.
- If a control is covered or too difficult to use, keep your draft and finish that task on a computer. Report the page and phone/browser details rather than guessing at hidden controls.
Mobile walkthrough
The phone walkthrough uses the actual menu, class view and scrolling. The desktop view shows the same navigation context for comparison. The SMS composer currently can have its Review button covered by bottom navigation; use a computer for final confirmation when this occurs.
Check the current screen and the relevant context.

Check the selected school, record and saved state after navigation. Merely opening a page or switching tabs does not record an action or demonstrate learning.
Troubleshooting
A button or table column seems missing?
Close open menus, scroll the current section and swipe the table if it is wider than the screen. Preserve your draft before reloading. If the control remains covered, use a computer and report the specific page.
Before retrying a save or send, reopen the same record and check whether it was already saved or queued. Keep the original wording and error. Repeated clicks can create duplicate actions.
