Holistic, not only cognitive. Inclusive, not a single pace. The learner does some of the work. Projects when the world is the test. Continuous assessment instead of a single gate. Progress when the competency is met, not only when the calendar says so.
Align the lesson to a stated competency. Let learners work together when the task needs it. Use a device for the record, not as a treat. Give feedback while it can still change the next period. Differentiate without running a private school inside a public one.
