The Kenya Primary School Heads Association signed with Kurasa Africa in Nairobi on 12 July 2024. Johnson Nzioka, then chairman, put the reason in staffroom language: teachers needed tools for CBC and for the administration that eats the week. The association was the way into those schools.

Lesson planning, assessment, a parent-facing picture. William Nguru’s line at the signing was that technology should take work off the teacher, not add a portal. Education News named Kennedy Kyeva, treasurer, and Irene Yiaile, secretary, at the table with Nzioka. The November 2024 KEPSHA conference at the coast is the same relationship in a hall of heads — it 301s to this page rather than living as a second press release.
The 2024 post cited a teacher shortage “over 100,000” and a Usawa Agenda survey. Those claims stay in 2024 journalism. They are not Kurasa’s measurement and they are not the 60 Decibels sample. Inclusivity ratios and national gaps do not become product proof. Disrupt Africa’s September 2024 counts — about 52,000 learners and 2,400 teachers — stay on that clipping.
