Parent engagement in this study is what teachers noticed: more reach-outs, fewer paper hunts, reports that can leave the staffroom. It is not a claim that 71% of parents opened an app every week.

71% reported improved parent engagement

Seventy-one percent said parents’ engagement had improved because of Kurasa. Fifty-five percent already send weekly or monthly guardian reports from the platform. A 23-year-old teacher described parents writing to ask how to work together on the weak spots in a subject.

The request that remains is practical. In the human-story interview, a P1 teacher asked for one parent page when a family has children in several grades — instead of one child at a time. That is not a satisfaction slogan. It is a product note from the same study.

Do not mix this 71% with any composite “64% of parents opened Home weekly.” That figure is not in the 60 Decibels report.
