Curriculum and country setup
Schools in one country may follow different frameworks. Choose the guide for the curriculum configured in your school’s workspace.
Overview
Cambridge/IGCSE schools need the correct programme and subject syllabus for their teaching year. Keep Cambridge International’s current subject reference alongside the school’s own planning policy.

Who can use this feature
Use your own authorised school account. Settings usually require owner, co-owner, administrator or school-leadership access; finance and staff-credit actions have their own permissions. Confirm the specific action with the school lead.
Before you start
Confirm the workspace, academic year, school curriculum and your responsibility for this change. Have the approved school records available and review existing settings before entering replacements.
Have the programme, class levels, subject/ syllabus references and authorised school settings available. Confirm which IGCSE workflow is enabled in Workspace.
Required and optional fields

Desktop walkthrough
Choose the intended level
Screen walkthrough · 0:12Download GIF ↓- Confirm the school’s configured curriculum and the intended programme, class and subject with the administrator.
- Check class-level subject choices and teacher allocations. Resolve a missing subject in the catalogue before entering a replacement under another framework.
- Inspect Settings → Preferences for the categories actually offered. The current rubric editor has specific CBE and CCP forms; confirm support before assuming it supplies a Cambridge grading form.
- Check the IGCSE lesson form’s Learning Objectives, Rationale and Lesson Development. Compare their wording and activities with the selected subject reference.
- Save authorised settings only through supported controls, reopen them and check the teacher’s planning path. Agree any unsupported mapping with the school lead and support.
Mobile walkthrough
Choose the intended level
Screen walkthrough · 0:12Download GIF ↓On a phone, open the school menu and the feature named in the steps. Open one record or panel at a time. Scroll inside drawers and close the keyboard to reach the lower fields and final action.
Choose prerequisite fields first and check any defaults after changing school, year, class or curriculum. For wide grids and large imports, use landscape or a larger screen; the written instructions remain available.
After an authorised save, wait for confirmation and reopen the record. If a request may have completed, inspect the saved state before trying again.
Save and verify
Staff can identify the correct programme and subject and use the enabled planning path. Workspace setup does not replace Cambridge syllabus or examination-entry requirements.
Troubleshooting
An option or feature is missing
Check school, year, role, curriculum and enabled modules. Clear search filters and wait for loading. Resolve the preceding setup item first; ask the administrator to check access if the choice remains unavailable.
Only CBE or CCP rubric categories appear
Confirm the school curriculum and available integration with support. Do not select a CBE/CCP category to imply it is Cambridge grading; continue only with the supported school workflow.
A change did not save
Read the named validation error and correct that field. Check whether any part of the request succeeded before retrying. Keep the original source record available until the saved version has been checked.
