Curriculum and country setup
Schools in one country may follow different frameworks. Choose the guide for the curriculum configured in your school’s workspace.
Overview
Feature visibility, product modules and integrations are different setup checks. Use the school’s curriculum and approved services to decide which tools should be available.

Interface labels are shown in English. Follow the translated steps below to find each control. Follow the sequence, review the recorded information and choose the next step.
Who can use this feature
Use your own authorised school account. Settings usually require owner, co-owner, administrator or school-leadership access; finance and staff-credit actions have their own permissions. Confirm the specific action with the school lead.
Before you start
Confirm the workspace, academic year, school curriculum and your responsibility for this change. Have the approved school records available and review existing settings before entering replacements.
Know the school’s approved modules and integration owner. Confirm administrative access and the effect of each change on staff routines.
Required and optional fields
| Field | Requirement | Format or example | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workspace features and product modules | Check before continuing | Review the named switch and its effect before changing it. Feature and module switches save immediately; reopening the page checks the result. | Approved school records and current workspace membership. |
| Level and grading-system category | Check before continuing | Choose the intended active level and an offered category. Choices depend on the school curriculum and catalogue; do not substitute another framework to fill an empty list. | The school’s enabled curriculum, active levels and available rubric catalogue. |
Picklist prerequisites
| Choice | Options come from | Earlier selection | If missing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Available features and integrations | Workspace permissions, feature settings and supported product modules. | Confirm the school’s entitlement and the effect of the specific switch. | Check the module catalogue or contact support; a menu alone does not establish active integration. |
| Grading categories and level overrides | The enabled curriculum’s rubric catalogue and active class levels. | Confirm curriculum; choose a level before its override category. | Check active classes and catalogue support. Do not choose an unrelated curriculum category. |
Desktop walkthrough
Read the feature scope
Screen walkthrough · 0:12Download GIF ↓- Open Settings → Features and read the scope of Lesson planning, Attendance, Pathways, Schemes of work, Records of Work Covered and Timetable.
- Review the named switch before changing it. These feature switches save immediately; turning a feature off hides its routes without deleting its records.
- Review Additional features → Product modules separately. School Finance controls access to live finance; without it the finance interface can show shared sample data.
- Use the country/curriculum setup guide for the school’s actual framework. Check the offered grading catalogue and feature entitlement rather than selecting another country’s framework.
- For an external integration, confirm the supported connection and permissions with the responsible administrator. A visible module switch does not itself connect a payment, messaging or curriculum service.
Mobile walkthrough
Read the feature scope
Screen walkthrough · 0:12Download GIF ↓On a phone, open the school menu and the feature named in the steps. Open one record or panel at a time. Scroll inside drawers and close the keyboard to reach the lower fields and final action.
Choose prerequisite fields first and check any defaults after changing school, year, class or curriculum. For wide grids and large imports, use landscape or a larger screen; the written instructions remain available.
After an authorised save, wait for confirmation and reopen the record. If a request may have completed, inspect the saved state before trying again.
Save and verify
Reopening Settings shows the intended feature state and authorised staff can reach the relevant workflow. Check the live connection separately from menu visibility.
Troubleshooting
An option or feature is missing
Check school, year, role, curriculum and enabled modules. Clear search filters and wait for loading. Resolve the preceding setup item first; ask the administrator to check access if the choice remains unavailable.
The switch is on but the feature is still unavailable
Check role permissions, additional feature entitlement and curriculum support. For pathways, confirm the separate enabled feature; for finance, confirm live mode.
A change did not save
Read the named validation error and correct that field. Check whether any part of the request succeeded before retrying. Keep the original source record available until the saved version has been checked.
