Who can use this feature
Sign in with your own account and choose the school workspace. Open aiDE, AI credits, Questions or Feed from the available navigation. Access and options depend on your workspace role and teaching assignments.
Before you start
Your school must enable and authorise aiDE, and your role must have access with available credits. Ask the owner or administrator to review authorisation if prompted; teaching access alone does not authorise external AI processing.
Required and optional fields
| Field | Requirement | Format or example | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Task brief / follow-up request | Required when applicable | Describe the intended teaching task; up to 2,000 characters. A new request can also start from an attached source; a follow-up needs text. | Current workspace, your permissions and the selected saved records. |
| Files and Kurasa sources | Optional | Optional context: up to eight files. Review the snapshot and confirm consent when selecting Kurasa data; access is limited by role. | Current workspace, your permissions and the selected saved records. |
| Working mode and response format | Check before continuing | Choose a suitable mode and format, such as a brief answer, table, lesson plan or worksheet. Review the final brief before Run. | Current workspace, your permissions and the selected saved records. |
Picklist prerequisites
Kurasa data and lesson-plan choices come from accessible records in the selected workspace and period. Choose the source or week, preview the snapshot and check scope. If empty, check access, saved records and dates before retrying.
Modes, response formats and approach choices are built-in options. They do not select or verify a national curriculum. Name the intended curriculum and compare the draft with the original reference.
Desktop walkthrough
Check the page, school and current context.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓- Open aiDE Home. Choose Conversation for asking and refining, Analysis for examining evidence, Import for reviewing file mappings, or Workflow for several draft steps with approval stops.
- Describe the class, learning area, curriculum reference, available materials, time and the activity you want to prepare. For example: prepare a ten-minute equal-groups activity with counters and observation prompts. Request a draft in the teaching language you use.
- Choose a response format. Attach only relevant files or use From Kurasa / @ to select available sources. Preview the snapshot and review its scope before confirming consent. A missing source should remain a stated gap.
- Choose Review task, select an approach and choose Review data and plan. Read the final task brief, data and output format. Change the data or go back if the brief does not describe your intended task.
- Choose Run this task once. In Work, open the task and check its status and draft. Read any request for more information or approval before continuing; running a draft does not approve a later save or send action.
Mobile walkthrough
Check the page, school and current context.
Screen walkthrough · 0:45Download GIF ↓On a phone, use Home and Work in the bottom bar. Swipe the mode row sideways if needed. Scroll through the final brief until Run this task is visible, then open the task card in Work. Read the draft one section at a time.
Save and verify
Check the saved task brief, selected sources, status and credit use. Continue to the review guide before using the material in class or approving any change.
Troubleshooting
aiDE is unavailable or a source is missing?
Check workspace authorisation, your role, credits and the source period. From Kurasa only offers accessible records; lesson-plan choices need saved plans in the chosen week. Ask an administrator to check access instead of adding another person’s credentials.
If an action fails, preserve your draft, read the error and check the connection. Reopen the same task or list before retrying to avoid duplicate submissions or extra credit use.
