Interface labels are shown in English. Follow the translated steps below to find each control. Follow the sequence, review the recorded information and choose the next step.

Who can use this feature

Use your own account and check the school before opening records. Account checks do not grant a school role. Ask an authorised school administrator to review missing membership, class assignments or feature access; families use their own approved learner links.

Before you start

You need school membership accepted through the correct account. Menus also depend on assigned roles, enabled services, curriculum and teaching allocations.

Required and optional fields

Follow the requirements of the form you are using. The diagnostic details below help you check the problem; they are not a separate form or a request to change your account.

FieldRequirementFormat or examplePrerequisite
School, year and recordRequired when applicableCheck the account, school name, academic year, role and intended class or record. These are diagnostic checks; only authorised school staff can correct membership and setup.Current account, selected school/year, saved setup records and the actual form’s requirements.

Picklist prerequisites

The workspace list comes from this account’s memberships. Menus use roles and enabled school services; class and subject choices use saved allocations in the selected year.

  1. Open your account menu and read the account identity and current school. Choose Switch workspace to review the workspaces attached to that account.
  2. Open the intended school. If it is absent, check the invited email or phone with the school administrator and review any pending invitation through the normal join process.
  3. In My account → Schools and roles, review the school and your access. Ask the administrator to confirm the role you actually need; do not create a duplicate school to recover access.
  4. For a missing class or learning area, check the academic year and teacher allocation with the school. A school-wide role and a subject allocation serve different purposes.
  5. Reopen the intended menu after the school corrects the saved setup. If the issue remains, report the school, expected feature, role and error without sending another person’s records.

Mobile walkthrough

On a phone, the school sidebar may be closed. Use the menu button or account menu to find Switch workspace. Scroll the Schools and roles page to review permissions before choosing Open.

Save and verify

Check the school name and expected menu after reopening. A visible link does not prove permission to every action; a missing service may require the school to confirm its plan or setup.

Troubleshooting

The school appears but a feature is missing?

Check account, year, role, curriculum, service availability and allocations separately. Ask the responsible administrator to correct the specific prerequisite, then reopen. A website country choice does not grant access.

Before retrying a save or send, reopen the same record and check whether it was already saved or queued. Keep the original wording and error. Repeated clicks can create duplicate actions.
