Who can use this feature

Sign in to the correct school with your own account. Teachers use their allocated classes and learning areas; school-wide views require an authorised leadership role and the relevant enabled module. Ask the school administrator to check access if a section is missing.

Before you start

Agree the teaching week and review scope. Check the school calendar, allocations and timetable before comparing records. Use the school’s configured curriculum: for example Ghana’s CCP content standards and indicators, or Kenya’s CBC/CBE learning areas. Follow the separate country guides when setup differs.

Prepare the intended lesson, class list and materials. Confirm which account and attendance routine your school uses.

  1. Open the current day or the relevant lesson from the lesson calendar. Check class, learning area and time before starting an offered teaching action.
  2. Check the class register against actual attendance. Review any Present defaults learner by learner before saving.
  3. Teach the planned activity and make observations using the applicable curriculum. Where quick marking is offered, select an indicator and record only observed learners.
  4. Use the offered reflection or self-evaluation controls after teaching. Describe work covered, unfinished activity and the next teaching adjustment.
  5. Check saved attendance, scores and teaching records. Share a home task or message only through the school’s separate authorised communication step.

On a phone, open the section menu and select the named view. The lesson-plan section selector may replace desktop tabs. Swipe the calendar or wide tables horizontally; use landscape when helpful. Check the week or date again after navigating.

On a phone, finish and verify one record before switching sections. Scroll to all learner rows; close the keyboard before the final save or finish action.

After a permitted update, wait for confirmation and reopen the saved record. Check whether an earlier request succeeded before retrying. Review counts only after confirming the same dates, classes and filters.

Save and verify

The day’s saved records reflect the activity, attendance and observations that actually took place, with the next step clear.

Troubleshooting

A save or finish action is unavailable

Check required fields, selected lesson date and permissions. In quick marking, select an indicator and score at least one observed learner; verify the saved record before retrying.

A view or choice is missing

Check school, role, enabled module, allocations and current filters. Complete the prerequisite setup first. A loading error or empty filtered view does not establish that no record exists.
